Radio clock not working5/26/2023 ![]() ![]() I have a Fosgate Amp in my trunk that runs the line inverter underneath the glove box if that makes any diff.īut the thing was, the radio WAS working and it just stopped working, no power at all. Still no power on the stock head unit and clock. We replaced it with a 20 because they did not have a 25 there, and that gauge and door locks became normal. My gauge was tripping out because of this. ![]() Weird thing about this was the fuse on it was a 15 and it needed a 25. Check the fuse box in the engine compartment and only one was blown. We check the fuse, and one of them was blown. We put the stock radio in and still no power on the radio and no power on the clock. Mitsubishi Montero & Montero Sport - radio, power windows/locks, clock and climate control not working. Using a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) find which wire has no power. Unplug the radio from the AC power source and wait 15 seconds, Connect the power cord back in. You just can't see the clock cause the light (same fuse as the radio) is off. The clock is on it's own fuse cause it's always on, even when you sleep. ![]() That fuse runs your radio AND the light for your clock. Look to the upper left of your fuse box for the 'radio' fuse. Follow these steps to resolve the issue: If the clock radio uses a back up battery, remove the battery. If your clock & radio stopped working at the same time, it's a fuse. When I power up my car again, no power on the radio, and no power on the clock. The clock radio is on but does not respond when one or more of the buttons on the clock radio is pressed. Before putting everything back we power up the car and see if the new head unit works. If your clock, radio, and cigarette lighter dont work, its more than likely a fuse. Digital clocks have a crystal that is tuned to run at a certain frequency to keep the clock working correctly. A friend of mine was installing a new Head Unit for my 00 Celica GTS. This is a problem with the clocks tuning crystal. ![]()
